Sea-Doo Raises The Stakes With “Big Bucks” X-Team Bounty Program

At the 2012 IJSBA World Finals, Sea-Doo claimed sixteen of the available twenty one titles. In addition, 47 out of 63 podium positions were awarded to Sea-Doo finishers. Sea-Doo is absolutely dominating closed course racing. With such skis as the 2012 RXP-X which features a deep “V” bottom hull, amazing ergonomics, scoop grate, adjustable rear sponsons and a powerful Rotax 4-tec engine, the RXP-X is ready to race straight from the dealership.

For 2013, BRP is encouraging more racers to finish first on the podium and they are offering a very lucrative incentive in doing so. BRP is introducing the Sea-Doo X-Team”Big Bucks” Bounty program, a first of its kind. For all 2013 IJSBA accredited events, BRP is offering serious payouts to podium finishers of designated classes in Novice, Expert and Pro class. Competing on a RXP-X and meeting some of the basic requirements qualifies racers to be part of the Sea-Doo X-Team. That’s right, open sponsorship. This is by far, the biggest push by any watercraft company in recent decades.

According to Sea-Doo, Brand Manager Adrian De Alexandris says, “BRP is dedicated to supporting the sport of watercraft racing and giving the high-performance Sea-Doo watercraft owner a place, with incentives, to enjoy their Sea-Doo in a competitive atmosphere.” He continues by saying, “Watercraft racing is a great family sport and supporting this community compliments our efforts in producing the industry’s best high-performance watercraft in the Sea-Doo RXP-XRXT-X and GTR 215 models.

Next Tuesday, the Mark Hahn 300 will kick off the 2013 Sea-Doo X-Team “Big Bucks” Bounty program available only to Sea-Doo racers. In addition, nine other IJSBA accredited events within the 2013 season will offer payouts to the podium finishers. Payouts go as high as $4,000.

We look forward to the 2013 season and we expect that the Sea-Doo X-Team will continue to prevail over the year.
